Living in Turkey:

  • Turkey is available for UK residents. We have regular Flights to Dalaman, Antalya, Bodrum and Istanbul International Airports from all over Europe - and another airport planned for Alanya soon. Flights are a few hours, making Turkey easily accessible to you and your guests. More flights are being added all the time - BA begins scheduled flights to Antalya in April and Easyjet is now flying to Dalaman.
  • Turkey is warm and spectacularly beautiful. With the most picturesque coastline in the Mediterranean region, awesome mountain geography.
  • Turkey is a beach paradise with over 8000 km of golden sand and wide-ranging cuisines, fascinating history, beautiful landscape - and a different “ambience” in each region.
  • Turkey has a glorious background. History is evident in every inch of the place, giving deeper meaning to every scene and presenting the visitor with much more than simple beauty. The architecture in each region illustrates the spread of cultures across the country and the society in each region has its own special style.
  • The low cost of living is a major benefit in Turkey. Expenses are much below those in Western Europe, so your precious nest-egg allows visitors or residents a much more luxurious lifestyle than you could possibly afford in the UK.

Investment in Turkey:

  • With a amazing 30% growth in GDP (Gross Domestic Product) over 2005, to £300bn in 2006 Turkey has enormous energy and is a country which boasts a modern and thriving economy with “real” GDP rising by degree year on year.
  • Turkey is one of the most-watched emerging markets and foreign investors own 70 per cent of the Istanbul stock market giving ever- greater stability.
  • Turkey has the best nightlife in Europe, first class hotels and resorts, a growing number of well-equipped new marinas, a world-class eclectic cuisine, and of course a wonderful climate – an attractive investment arena!
  • EU accession is regularly developed with the existing membership and Turkey’s economic growth is assisting this. These factors are attracting more investors – with political stability, growing economic stability, reduced tax rates and growing privatisation.
  • In 2007 more than 22 million people visited Turkey - up by 18% on the previous year. Turkish investment in tourism and infrastructure is expected to keep pace as the number of visitors to Turkey doubles over the next few years.
